His background
A career built on care and curiosity
He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Temple University, where he graduated first in his class. Dr. Cogan continued his post-graduate training at Temple University, earning both his Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master’s degree in Oral Biology.
During his master's thesis research on Invisalign efficacy, he traveled across the country working alongside top Invisalign experts to advance evidence-based aligner therapy.

At home in Newtown
Dr. Cogan and his wife, Amber, an elementary school teacher in the Council Rock School District, live locally in Newtown with their 6-year-old son, Reign, and 4-year-old daughter, Vida.
Outside the office, Dr. Cogan is an avid Philly sports fan who enjoys playing golf, staying active, and spending time with his family. As a local resident, you will often spot him on the sidelines of the Newtown baseball fields, attending his daughter's dance recitals, or out and about in the community.
